All,
I will be making some major changes to the site (Mostly layout and content related) as I see fit over the next couple of weeks. I’ll keep everyone posted!
Its the end of 2008, and the start to a fresh set of resolutions for the coming year! Whats on your list for this year?
I don’t have much yet, but maybe tomorrow I will update this post with my resolutions. Stay tuned!
It has been an incredibly busy past month and a half. I have been meaning to add a few new articles to the lineup however, it’s been nearly impossible given my schedule. For those readers out there, new material will be coming real soon so keep an eye out over the next week or so.
I have posted up on the Bay, two of my Airport Express WiFi G routers which will be replaced with two new N Airport Express routers! I love these little guys. They are portable, can have stored profiles, and offer great connectivity even under G mode. I need the N as I am upgrading everything across the board here. Here is a link to the auctions.
I have a unique network setup in the sense that I have two Airport Express routers, one of which is connected to my Cradlepoint CTR500 router recieving an EVDO connection. I then have my stereo hooked up to my living room Airport Express, and in the bedroom, a second Airport Express which is joined to the existing network directly. That serves as my wireless printing and bedroom speakers setup. All in all, it works very well though sometimes due to my EVDO connection, isn’t as fast as I would like. Its nothing to do with the Airport Express, but all to do with my EVDO Sprint connection.
I first revamped my site over the summer while living in Massachusetts but was not happy with the result. Interestingly enough, I sat on that for quite some time until I could focus on what my needs really were with the projects I was doing, and the direction of my freelance work. As with most personal projects, this got put on hold for several months.
Now I have geared up and produced yet another version of my site for everyone to see. This time it is based on WordPress and the VibrantCMS Framework. This allowed for a grid level control over the layout and features of this site. I was able to take the site in a direction not previously possible under the K2 platform for WordPress.
So thats about it, a new site, some new direction, and a few new clients that will be added into the portfolio this fall! Thanks for all the support from my friends and family.
