I specialize in these implementations which you can see in a few of my portfolio entries. These sites required simple setup and content control with the ability to manage media including pictures and videos. WordPress & Drupal are very popular with magazine style writing, as well as press release and news reporting groups. I will work with you to define your goals, and generate the implementation strategy for the site as well as information flow. Website Template Creation

If you are looking for a publishing platform like WordPress or Drupal, you will need to have a template available from your design after you have performed the required design slicing mentioned above. I offer this as a service because over the years, people have often requested this given the technical nature of integrating into a platform which requires knowledge of the platforms code itself. Many times custom code is required in order to get the template working as desired. Your template allows for your published content to appear as you have intended. There are many facets to template creation and typically if you were to request this service, you may already have a platform running and are looking for a custom template to use instead of your current default templates.

Design Slicing

Before a website can become well, a website, it needs to undergo a transition from a static design image usually created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to functional and usable XHTML/CSS. XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup Language) is the structure of your site defining the placement of content, while the CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) controls the look and feel of your structure and content. These files build the framework of your static website, or dynamic template when being integrated into WordPress and other popular publishing platforms.
